Madinat Jumeirah, the resort with Al Qasr, Mina A’Salam and Dar Al Masyaf linked by waterways, is one of Dubai’s most popular places to stay on the Umm Suqeim coast. Being Fit offers private hotel personal training for guests, and home training for residents across Umm Suqeim.
Training across the Madinat resort
The resort is spread out, with gardens, waterways and beach, so outdoor sessions are pleasant in the cooler months. Inside, a suite gives enough room for strength, mobility and recovery work.
Guests also often book recovery services alongside training, such as massage, yoga or Pilates after travel.
Where your sessions can happen
Your coach comes to you, so the session fits around life at Madinat Jumeirah rather than the other way round. Most clients use one or two of these settings across a week:
- In your suite or the hotel gym. For guests, a coach can meet you in your room or suite, or in the hotel gym where the hotel allows visiting trainers. Each hotel sets its own policy, so we confirm access with you before the first session. See hotel guest workouts in Dubai for short-stay plans.
- Outdoors, in the cooler months. From roughly November to March, early mornings and evenings suit walks, intervals and mobility near the water or in quieter green spaces.
- Online, when you travel. If you split your year between Dubai and abroad, sessions and check-ins continue through the Being Fit app with our online coaching, so the plan does not stop at the airport.
Who trains with us at Madinat Jumeirah
Families on holiday, couples, and professionals extending a business trip who want to keep moving.
What you can train for
Every programme starts with a conversation about your week, your history and what you want to change. Common goals for clients in Madinat Jumeirah include:
- Strength and body composition – structured, progressive training that fits a busy diary, with a nutritionist on the team for eating that matches your schedule, travel and dining out.
- Combat sports – one-to-one boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai, including sessions with Zhanebek, a three-time Muay Thai world champion, or kickboxing and self-defence with Shima.
- Women’s training – female coaches on request, prenatal and postpartum training, and menopause coaching.
- Healthy ageing – sessions for clients aged 60+ with their doctor’s clearance, focused on strength, balance and confidence.
- Recovery – massage, yoga and Pilates at home, booked alongside training or on their own.
- Family – kids’ and teens’ boxing and kickboxing, and couples or family sessions.
What a typical first week looks like
Your first session at Madinat Jumeirah is a relaxed assessment: a conversation about health history, injuries, sleep, work and travel, then simple movement checks so your coach can see how you squat, hinge, push, pull and balance. Nothing is rushed, and anything that needs a doctor’s input is flagged before training moves on.
From there, most clients start with two or three sessions a week of around an hour. Each one mixes strength, conditioning and mobility, with the balance shifting towards your goal. Between sessions you get simple guidance on steps, hydration in Dubai’s heat, and eating around restaurant dinners and events, so progress continues on the days your coach is not with you. Every few weeks you review progress together and adjust the plan.
Discretion comes first
Many residents and guests at Madinat Jumeirah value privacy as much as results. Your coach arrives on time, works quietly, respects household staff, security and building rules, and does not share client names. If you prefer a female coach, a set time each day, or a coach who also travels with your family’s routine, tell us at the start and we plan around it. For clients who want the most flexibility, our VIP personal training adds priority scheduling and a dedicated coach.

Frequently asked questions
Can a personal trainer come to me at Madinat Jumeirah?
Yes, where the hotel permits visiting trainers. We confirm the policy with you first; if the gym is restricted, sessions can take place in your suite or outdoors nearby.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. A small clear space is enough. Your coach brings portable kit where useful and plans around whatever you already have.
Can I request a female coach?
Yes. Female coaches are available for one-to-one training, prenatal and postpartum work, and women’s self-defence.
Do you work with Burj Al Arab guests too?
We can arrange sessions for guests in the area where the hotel permits visiting trainers, or in a suite; we confirm access case by case.
