Kickboxing & boxing coach in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) & Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT)

JVC has grown fast, and with it a lot of building gyms that hold a punch bag, a few dumbbells and not much else. Those rooms are perfect for boxing and kickboxing with a coach. In JVT, where more people live in villas and townhouses, a garage or garden gives even more space for kicks and longer pad rounds.

Syrine and Shima, both women, coach every striking session. Syrine is a personal trainer and martial arts coach focused on boxing and kickboxing. Shima coaches kickboxing, cardio conditioning and self-defence. They teach clean technique first, so beginners stay safe and quickly feel confident on the pads.

Families are a big part of JVC and JVT, and boxing works well for them. Parents get one of the hardest conditioning workouts around, while children and teenagers learn coordination, focus and discipline in private junior sessions.

Around Circle Mall and the community parks

JVC is arranged in numbered districts around a ring road, with Circle Mall at the centre and small community parks spread between the buildings. JVT sits next door towards Jumeirah Park. From November to March, an early round of footwork and conditioning outdoors is a good change from the building gym; from May onwards, everything moves back inside.

For heavier bag work, Red Gym in TECOM & Al Barsha, one of our partner gyms, is a short drive up Al Khail Road.
